Duplex Receptacle. Only the Best Materials Hubbell offers a wide variety of configurations available in high-impact nylon and metal wall plates. In 1981 Hubbell was the first manufacturer to introduce nylon wall plates. Hubbell only offers plastic plates of a high-impact material and does not offer wall plates made of materials that are subject to breakage in abusive environments. Hubbell only offers the best grade of stainless steel type 302/304, which is 18% chrome, 8% nickel, non magnetic providing superior corrosion resistance versus type 430 stainless steel. When you specify Hubbell wall plates you can be assured of the highest quality materials providing extended life in the most abusive environments. |

Tamper resistant wall plate single gang duplex receptacle shall be of the following construction: Cover plate:One piece #14 cold rolled zinc plated steel with Safety Ground-Tab or equivalent redundant groud feature. Plate shall have a five stage baked white polyester powder enamel finish. Gloss: 85%, reflectance: 93%, hardness minimum: 2H and pass 600 hour salt spray test. Back plate:#10 cold rolled galvanized steel. Plate assembly shall use four (4) #8-32 X ˝" stainless steel T-20 TORX head screws with center pin reject. Plate must be UL listed to UL 514A or UL 514D and comply with NEC® 410-56(e). |
